The City of Discovery is one of our nation’s unsung heroes. Known to all that love her as the city built on the three Js - jam, jute and journalism - this unpresuming place puts the Great into Britain. Beautiful reminders of its industrial past dot the landscape as old factories house new identities from clothes stores to quirky accommodation. Its school of fine art is globally respected but seldom shouted about and Dundee United FC - in my humble opinion - has the best shade of football strip in all the SPL.
